Thomas Svekla is a suspected serial killer from Edmonton Alberta, his crimes often compared to Robert Pickton.
In 2004 he was investigated by Project KARE, and is thought to be responsible for the murders of 12 women, most from the Edmonton area.
However, he would only be convicted for the murder of Theresa Innes, whom he met while living in northern Alberta.
In 2010 he was declared by the court to be a dangerous offender, and locked up in prison indefinitely.
