Regan Ambrose was last seen January 11, 1998 after finishing a shift at work.
Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, she had accepted a nursing position in Japan just one month before Christmas.
Less than one month later the 29 year old didn’t show up for work and has been missing ever since.
All of her belongings had been left behind. Regan’s passports, travelers cheques, visa, cash, camera, and a returning plane ticket were all found in her room.
None of her cheques had been cashed and no money has been withdrawn from her bank account since she vanished.
Police say a woman matching Regan’s description was seen at “mystery mountain”, a tourist spot
