September 26, 2022, at approximately 11:40 am, Dauphin RCMP arrested Peter Flatfoot, 27, of Dauphin. He had a modified firearm in his possession at the time of the arrest and is facing multiple firearms-related charges as well as mischief and resist Arrest.
On September 23, 2022, around 6:20 pm, Dauphin RCMP responded to a report of an assault and shots fired on 6th Avenue Southwest in Dauphin, Manitoba.

Officers responded immediately to the area and found a 27-year-old female victim and a 58-year-old male victim, but the suspects had fled the scene.
Police have determined that the victims were confronted by two females when they were entering a business. During a heated altercation, the female victim was struck in the head with a hard object and the male victim was cut. The suspects left the area.
The victims attempted to leave the scene in their vehicle when a male fired a firearm at the victims car. Fortunately, The gunshot did not strike anyone and the victims were treated at hospital and released shortly afterwards.

The two female suspects remain at large.
