Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes Unit investigating death of an inmate

Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes is investigating the death of 46-year-old Sheldon Rosebluff, an inmate at the Regina Correctional Centre.

On October 12, 2022 Mr Rosebluff was involved in an altercation with another inmate, 31-year-old Adrian Cote.

Mr Cote was not harmed, however Sheldon Rosebluff was seriously injured and pronounced deceased on scene by EMS.

Adrian Cote was charged with one count of second degree murder, in the death of Sheldon Rosebluff, after an investigation conducted by Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes.

According to an RCMP press release “Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes continues to investigate in collaboration with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service. Assistance is also being provided by the RCMP Forensic Identification Section and Regina RCMP General Investigation Section.”
