Eps. 25 The Edmonton Armored Car Murders – The Case of Travis Baumgartner

On June 15, 2012, four G4S Cash Solutions security guards were shot on the University of Alberta campus in the HUB mall building.

Three of the guards would not survive the attack and a fifth guard, Travis Baumgartner was missing.

He would be found less than 48 hours later attempting to cross the border at Port of Lyndon with over $300, 000 in cash in his possession.

He would eventually plead guilty to charges of first and second degree murder and was given the most severe sentence available at the time. Life without the possibility of parole for 40 years.
