Christine Goodwin, who escaped from Eagle Women’s Healing Lodge on September 16, has been apprehended by Winnipeg police.
Goodwin is currently serving a sentence of three years and four months for Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of a Scheduled Substance, Failure to Comply with Conditions of Release Order and Failure to Comply with Probation Order.
The Correctional Service of Canada is conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
