Hamilton police arrested a 13 year old on September 26 after multiple bomb threats towards schools occurred in the Hamilton area.
In a media statement police announced there have been 16 school threats since September 21, 2023.
“Hamilton Police recognize the importance of school safety and how threats of this nature can be difficult for students, staff, and their families. Police take incidents like these extremely seriously and will continue to work closely with school boards to help identify the individuals responsible and lay the appropriate criminal charges where a suspect(s) is identified.”
Hamilton polices are continuing to investigate the threats and are encouraging the public to come forward with information that may assist with these investigations.
