Toronto Police issue Canada wide warrant for three suspects wanted for second-degree murder.

Toronto police received a call on Monday March 6 for a stabbing incident at the Sherbourne Street and Queen East area.

A group of four men got into an altercation with the victim Jeffrey Munro, 55, of Toronto.

The altercation escalated, and Mr Munro was stabbed and taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries. He succumbed to these injuries a short time later.

On Friday, March 17, 2023, one the suspects, Hussen Elmi, age 36, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder.

He is scheduled to appear via video on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at the Toronto Regional Bail Court, 2201 Finch Avenue West, room 205, at 10 a.m.

Three other male suspects remain at large and Toronto Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating these suspects wanted for second-degree murder.

Canada-wide Warrants in the First have been issued for:

  • Jedidiah Creighton-Chevalier, 21 years old, 5’10”, 240 lbs
  • Hussein Ibrohim, 27 years old, 5’6″, 150 lbs
  • Christopher Williamson, 35 years old, 5’6″, 130 lbs

All three should be considered armed and dangerous and the public should not approach.
