Vernon Karl Otto, 66 when was reportedly last seen May 29, 2018.
Based on evidence gathered over the last four years, RCMP believe the man from Manitoba may have been murdered.
Otto met with his family on the morning of May 29. He told them he was off to run errands and do yard work at his home in the Stead, Man., area and also said he planned to go look at a crawler tractor
Vernon Karl Otto was last seen on May 29, 2018, at 1:00 pm, working in his field near his residence located near Stead, MB.
On May 30th, officers found his truck nearby, on Road 94 N., west of Highway 12. It was burned and investigators believe the cause was arson.
He was last known to be operating this vehicle on May 29, 2018. The RCMP considers Otto’s disappearance suspicious.
Otto is described as Caucasian, 6’2”, 200 pounds, blue eyes, and gray balding hair. He was last seen wearing black jeans, a gold watch, and black casual shoes.
Police want to speak to anyone who may have seen or had contact with Otto on May 29, 2018, between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.
